Slop Bowl uses server-side services to generate AI-based responses, extract recipes, and search for cooking information. When you chat with the assistant, import a recipe, or upload a photo, the relevant content (such as your messages, recipe text, or images) may be sent securely to our backend and forwarded to third-party providers — including OpenAI (for AI responses and search) and Exa (for web search) — to generate a result.
We do not send information that directly identifies you personally (such as your name or email address) to these AI providers.
Slop Bowl Premium subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may share limited transaction information with us (such as your subscription status) in accordance with Apple’s policies, so that we can provide access to premium features.
